jaded mirror

there are times when i look in the mirror and am unable to see what everyone else sees
it's as though i cannot remember the person looking back at me
i'm able to see a girl but am unable to place the pieces to the puzzle
of me and who i am
i confuse myself in effort to try to accept the way of the world with a set of eyes that often shadow my perspective of reality and daydreams
