Two months

 I cannot believe that my baby is already 2 months old. She is perfect and beautiful. I’m so proud to be her mom. This is truly the best thing I’ve ever done in my life. I look at her and am awestruck. I am trying to soak up each moment because these days of Lottie being a baby are fleeting; she’s growing so much each day. I’m starting to learn her cries and what she needs. I don’t get it right every time but we get through it. I’ve learned when she cries very hard to the point where her face gets reddish purple, that means she’s extremely tired and needs a nap. Today when she reached that point, the only way to console her was to walk her around in her stroller. Last month it was me holding her and shushing her while moving her up and down. I’ve learned that just because one thing worked once, doesn’t mean it will work again in the same way. Patience is something that gets tested each day. Some days are easier than others in that department. It really depends on the day and how much sleep baby and I have gotten. Today, she’s napped a lot and she’s transitioning out of swaddles into a sleep sack because she’s learning to roll. She’s also busted out of the swaddles so I read to forego the swaddles once that happens. It’s supposed to warm up next week and be in the 90s so I’m gonna try these sleep nightgown sack situations for sleeping. They look interesting but they’re very lightweight so it should be perfect for those hot nights.

I took a Lyft and went to happy hour with some coworkers at Pitfire in Hollywood. Every Friday they all go and I'm always babysitting, but today I got the day off, so I was able to chill!

Saturday

Woke up at 11am. Kyle and I went thrifting and I got some awesome finds! Maybe I'll make a thrift haul tmrw!! I am babysitting right now in the canyon. Last night, Kyle and I went to Katelyn's and hung with her and her sister, Ally. I ended up falling asleep on their outside couch because we were having a bonfire and I was cuddled up under a blanket! Haha oops! I was way tired. Anyways, I'm watching mega mansions on Netflix. I really want to design my future house with secret doors! That has always been my dream! The mansion I'm watching right now is the O street mansion.
