Chill Sunday night

 

Kyle and I watched some of the Grammys on social media(couldn’t actually find it streaming anywhere)and ate a meatball arugula salad. We went to Trader Joe’s, did laundry, vacuumed, and practiced using the stroller and car seat. We had a productive day. 

Chips was super tired from a busy day of relaxing outside and inside.

The Standard X Sunday

I went to The Standard last night to hang and shoot with one of my friends who's moving to England for school. We got drinks at the bar at the hotel. I got a pineapple coconut mojito, which was so crisp, cold, and refreshing. I didn't know anyone there but my friend so that was a little out of the norm for me to do, but I had a good time. Ally has her 2 dogs at the hotel with her! They were super cute and friendly. We hung on the balcony. I was leaning on the railing facing the room and my sunglasses fell off my head because I tilted my head back to laugh and suddenly my glasses were on the first floor. Ally called the front desk and the guy threw them up to me and I caught them. I snapchatted the catch. Haha

Waking up feeling weird

Have you ever had a dream where when you woke up you felt like your spirit left in the night and returned as soon as you woke up? I felt this weird out of body feeling today upon awakening and I still feel kind of weird. I tried describing it out loud to Kyle and I just sound crazy. I am not sure what this is but I do wonder if anyone else has experienced this before.

Kyle and I went on a hike this afternoon. I kind of had a hard time going down the hill. Going back up the hill was easier for some reason. I hadn't gone on a hike for about 2 years and I realize I am not the most excited about taking hikes. Today's was good but I didn't enjoy it at first. I was used to it on the way back. I think I liked going up because I knew that  eventually we would be back at the car. We went to Chipotle a few hours after the hike which I guess out rules the hike workout. I don't know. Now we are watching Tammy.

Hello Happy last Sunday of 2012!

Hello jcrew membahhhs!

I woke up today with a feeling like I was picked up by my head and dangled over the ground. My spine and head hurts so I have just been lounging around my house. I'm currently sipping tea in my Cinderella cup! I love this tea! It's super good with vanilla creamer. So yummy! It's my fave tea at the moment.

Today we hungout with our friend Matt. We went to Betty's then walked to the beach. It was very much crisp out! I can't believe it's actually cold here. I'm somewhat excited for cold weather.

jean jacket obsessed

I had this jacket made for me. I chose the lace and flowers to this jean jacket I thrifted. Literally obsessed with the way it turned out. What do you think about jean jackets?

I wore it today and last night. Love it with a hoodie underneath for added warmth. The jean part of the jacket broke the wind which was key today because it was raining on and off today.
