This weekend in photos

Checkout my highlight though? Friday night was spent in Burbank at a couple of food trucks with Jewel, Wes, and Luke. I went to an appointment in Hollywood then went straight to GenBeauty by myself on Saturday and later, Chris Grieder and I  went to our friends' party at night.

This is what I got from generation beauty today. I only waited in these lines. I spent a total of probably an hour and a half waiting to get these free products. I think it was worth it.

Funny insult

The funniest insult that I have been called is peanut butter baby. I guess it means that your face is shiny. Haaha that actually happened tonight while doing a younow live broadcast with my friend Jewel. Just thought I'd share that funny piece of info with you tonight:)

I'll see you soon

Saying see you later to someone you love  isn't the easiest thing in the world. It's actually saying "I'll see you-when I see you" and that might be like 5 weeks. Last night I had to say see you later to my boyfriend. It was very emotional but I know we are strong. We have done this before. It just doesn't get easier with each tour. I will never forget the talk we had in the back lounge about our future. We both are each other's worlds. We are just as in love as we were when we first fell.

I got to spend last night and today with my boyfriend, best friend, and favorite person in the world. It had only been 11 days since tour started, but it felt much longer. Being apart from someone you love and see everyday is tough. I knew it was going to be anything from easy.  This picture was taken outside of the house of blues in Anaheim.

Okay so I have an obsession with this filter on snapchat right now! I get so excited to check the new filter everyday haha anyways, I love how big this filter makes my eyes! I also like how snapchat makes me look better than the regular camera. Does anyone else notice that? Snapchat makes me look better than I do in real life haha

3 day weekend

So this weekend was a 3 day weekend thanks to Martin Luther King day today. I went home on Friday and came back to LA an hour and a half ago. I was so happy to be home and spend time with my mom and dad and the two cats, Delilah and Kobe. The days flew by and I am wondering how it got to be Monday night. I am so tired from driving all day. I am watching Vanderpump Rules and about to put away some amazing mom made-homemade brownies. They're so good!!

Lesson of the day

If I've learned anything today, it's to make  the most of your life. No one has the power to change another person. You can go through the song and dance about how the other person can see things differently and go about the situation in a whole new light, but no matter how long you try to convince someone to change something for the best, there's just nothing you can do but illicit your advice. You can't change someone. You just have to be there for the ones you care about and let them know how you feel.

Sunless Sunday

Sometimes I like to do random sketches. Lipstick is so fun to draw for some reason. I'm trying to keep myself distracted because I just dropped Kyle off at LAX a couple hours ago. It's been awhile well, summer since Kyle's been on tour. I will get used to it. The first few weeks suck. It's also really hard going from being around someone constantly to not at all. It will get better! Last night Kyle surprised me and took me ice skating, but I wasn't really into it, so we didn't skate. I was actually starving so we went to the Burbank mall and got Wahoo's. We shared a veggie burrito and fish tacos. It was insanely good. We walked around the mall and I ended up in Forever 21 where I dragged Kyle around. I got 2 shirts. One is a black and white stripped shirt and the other is this military green crop shirt that looks like a Topshop shirt from a couple of years ago. They probably still sell something just like it in their stores now. We came home and watched Gossip Girl and ate dessert in bed and just relaxed. It was perfect. Anyways, I'm trying to remain optimistic.

Saturday, the day before Sunday

I made this amazing yogurt parfait with toasted vanilla coconut Greek yogurt, a banana, and vanilla almond organic cereal. I thought the ingredients looked cute altogether in layers in this jar I used to eat from.

Doing errands on a Friday

Kinda had a busy day, ran errands with my babe. He's leaving for tour with Never Shout Never on Sunday. It's a 6 week tour. I'm sad and happy for him to be leaving. I'll be busy too. We will get to see each other when they play in Anaheim and San Diego in a couple weeks. Last night Kyle, David, and I all went over to our friends' house and hung out for a few hours. The bottom picture is from last night. One thing that I love about Kyle is that he always makes me laugh. No matter what. I find that so attractive. He's a goofball and I love him with all of my heart.

Hike on Fryman Park with the homeboys

This morning, David, Kyle, and I went on a hike up on laurel canyon and mullholland. It was so cold out! I think it was 48 degrees but luckily it wasn't too long of a hike. We spent maybe a half an hour hiking. It was all of our first times exercising in 2016. I am not very into working out, but I will push myself to be more active. You'll read about it here probably.
