Fool

they tell you to act like you know who you are
and what you're doing
they will give you the clues
and expect you to spit out answers
the games and trials of conversation
spiral out of control with a missed connection
and raised brows
flash forward into a scene of tension filled air
how would you feel if you could
know what they said about you
just when you leave the pack
that's the time they pounce and prey
within a few seconds they go ahead and turn on your back
the laughter occurs because of you
you have landed yourself into misery
being the joke has reaped benefits of socialization
now my company has turned into a festival of feelings
with lost hope
the lonely speaker in the conversation
you were played for a fool
by a whole box full of tools
the irony seems like nothing to no one but me
