When you grow up, you have to take care of yourself. Okay, I know we all take care of ourselves when we are capable of eating, drinking, and bathing ourselves by ourselves at a young age. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about financially mainly. It's up to you whether you work at a mall or if you want to be an uber driver. You decide. That's the point of growing up, doing things for yourself, by yourself. You're responsible for your own happiness as well. Being a grown up isn't easy. Being a human isn't easy either. We all suffer. Some people just might hide it better than others. Having so many emotions and thoughts can overwhelm me in the blink of an eye. How do I pull myself out if it? Through redirecting my attention to something that makes me happy or happier in that particular moment. As I get older, I am able to reflect on other moments where I have felt defeated or hopeless and I tell myself that I can get through it. I can do it. I haven't ever been in a weird spot where I haven't been able to work things out, so why worry now? I hope this makes sense. I'm babysitting right now and I'm kind of distracted. I painted with acrylics tonight.
