the future is said to be great
you are told that it will be better than now
the future is supposed to hold something wonderful and great for each of us
what if that something wonderful is something that was once wonderful
what if it isn't wonderful for the person that I was
the person that I was doesn't like what the future was given me
today is another day in the life
today was a day in the future of what the person I was
I didn't think about today

another set of issues
and obstacles that we are being put through
in this life experience of ours
each of our experiences aren't like the rest
you can't feel someone else's pain, anger, happiness
only they can feel its power in its fully entirety
you can say you do
but you really have no idea how it is for another human being
