Sleepless

I couldn't sleep last night so I was on my phone for a bit. I went on Facebook and found out one of my childhood friends' dad passed away unexpectedly. I can't even imagine what that must feel like. I am so sad for him and his family. I am so tired as I type this out right now. Kyle is working on editing a video for practice of him playing the Anarbor set coming up. He leaves in 2 weeks for 3 weeks. I'm stoked for him. I'll miss him but I know he's doing what he loves most in the world and I'm totally for it. 

Sunday

Busy weekend making our room feel like home. Basically all of our boxes are unpacked and I got rid of clothes and things that I have held onto for awhile. I feel like the things that I have held onto kind of weighed me down. I don't know if that makes sense but now that I have separated myself from those things, I feel lighter as a "person with things". The things I have now and have kept have purpose. I haven't been online in the past 2 weeks! Sorry I've  been distant, this move has been intense and awesome with DIYs to the three times in one day visit to Home Depot, to the lizard under the couch, moving has been an experience which Kyle and I had never experienced before. We totally turned the room around and we even have a little bar area. It's cute. I might post photos soon.
